Dwun (Dialer Without Useful Name) is a program that is usually used to bring a PPP connection up and down based on clients stating their desire to CONNECT. It is intended for use primarily on a masquerading (NAT) gateway so that an ISP can be dialed when someone on one of the masqueraded boxes says they need a connection, and disconnect when no such clients remain.
However, it is also useful for people who are sick of manually redialing or getting ``claytons connections'' because as long as at least one person wants the connection it will keep dialing until it gains a real connection.
It can also be used as a generic authentication service with onconnect/ondisconnect5.
